Why
Is This Man Kissing His Gun?
This picture is from the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta
after Ennio Falco broke a 124 out of 125 for a new world
record in Olympic Skeet. Few people knew his gun was stolen just
before the Olympics so Beretta provided a new gun for
him to shoot. After training for so many years with
his old gun, it was incredible that he could keep his
presence of mind to compete and win with a new unproven
gun. Also, the (1) bird he missed (low 4)
in the Olympics was due to planes departing Atlanta
airport low and setting off the targets by mistake.
It was also raining!! I know - I was there. It was
the most impressive shooting I have ever seen given
the circumstances.
